Authentic Types
Description

Portfolio Assessment
-          The best way of monitoring learners development
-          It is a way of compiling of the achievements as to know one’s development of a learner.

Performance Test
-          An actual assessment, to know how far the students have achieved about the subject matter.

Analysis:
·         Was there a variety of assessment methods used by the teacher? How relevant was/were the assessment method/s used?
Yes, a variety of assessment tools was being used by the teacher as to assess the student learning from the lesson that was being discussed and the assessment tools were relevant for it was based from the objectives of the lesson as well as with interest of the learner.

·         Do you think the expected students learning behaviors indicated in the objectives were properly and appropriately assessed through those assessment methods?
Yes , for the teacher always consider the objectives of the lesson as to what assessment tool that she is going to use before, during and after discussion


Reflection

It is a must for every teacher to use an appropriate and variety of assessment tool in his/her class. And must be correlate and based on the its aims and objectives.

Analysis
Why did you have to study the teacher’s learning objectives prior to developing assessment tool?
It is very much needed for the objective for its will serve as a guide as to what assessment tool that is appropriate to be used the strategy for the presentation and the discussion for a good interaction.


Reflection

The assessment to be used must always be appropriate to the level of the learners and of course with the lesson to be discussed on the subject matter. It is must also that the output of the assessment will be known in order to know if they understand the lesson or not.

My Review Notes:
Assessment recognize and supports the increasing demand for better student outcomes in effective thinking and reasoning, communication and team-building, complex problem solving, higher order literacy and competition, and self-directed life-long learning skill.
They must capture the more complex skills and deeper contest, knowledge reflected in new expectations for learning “It is therefore vital skill-levels test align to the same standards and that school and classroom curriculum and assessments align to the same standards as well.

What were your personal strategies in choosing relevant articles to read?
When it comes of choosing relevant articles to read is that first and foremost is that I used to set a goal first of what is my purpose in reading and what I would like to know so that the article I am going to read is really relevant of to what I would like to know about
What are you insight and feelings about the new trends in classroom assessment?
It is more exciting and challenging considering there are variety of assessing tools used by the teachers.
What is your most meaningful learning from this activity?
I’ve learned new techniques and strategies in assessing student’s performance and effective way of motivating them.

Q: When do you start to use authentic as the form of your assessment?
A: As when the authentic assessment was introduced, I already started to use it, until now.
Q: How effective authentic as a form of your assessment design?
A: Very effective for the time that I used the more that we have a close relationship with my students.
Q: Is this applicable to all subjects?
A: Yes, for authentic assessment has a variety of design that is appropriate to different subjects.

It is a successful one, for it really give the accurate and reliable assessment of the students.

Do you think your originally designed process oriented performance assessment can appropriately assess the teacher’s learning objective? Why? Why not?
          Yes, before the assessment was being designed objectives were being presented first and at the same time analyzed whether what kind of assessment must be effectively used.

Why teachers need to give attention to the student’s process oriented task? Why do they need to assess them?
          To monitor the ability and behavior of each student’s on a particular subject or the performance of the learner.
In what conditions can the process-oriented performance assessment be used of more appropriately?
          This can be used in actual performance, knowing the behavior of the learners with regards to their character which is in the form of checklist.

I can be able to share what I have learned and at the same time can be able to discover various  assessment methods as to its uses and outcomes, and of course even its effectiveness to the students.

          Yes, for all the content of it was derived from subject matter that was being discussed by which based from the result, the objective was being attained.
Why do teachers used to give attention to the students product-oriented tasks? Why do you need to assess them?
          The teacher needs to give attention to the students’ product-oriented in order to see to it if they are following the instruction correctly. On the other side of it also needs to be assess for the academic or performance record.

Reflection:
A teacher must extend more patience in dealing student’s individual differences and must be always effective in dealing with the discussion to help student be more responsible in learning.
