REFLECTION Q 2!!!!

Learning and Teaching

A hand has five fingers; each has its own unique and important responsibility, character and part to perform. A hand can work without one of his parts but acts most efficiently and effectively when all present. Like learning, “learning” is not just simply as word as it is. There are also important part, role and character involved in the development and learning processes and programs. The “Who’s”, “What” and “Where” of the learning, the important characters – learner, Teacher, Administration, Curriculum and School/ Classroom.
Learners perform an important character in the learning processes. They are the main reason for the whole learning and without them who will acquire the knowledge, ideas and concepts conveyed by the Teachers. Teachers are the sole authority of the whole learning process inside the classroom. They perform a very challenging part in molding and strengthening the intellectual and psychological aspects of each individual learner. Teachers are the transmitters of learning and without them where will the learners rely their formal learning. These teachers are guided by their respective higher offices, the Administration. Administration is the personnel who are highly respected and experts in their respective field of learning processes and programs. These persons perform a vital role in making, developing, implementing, revising and evaluating curriculum that suits best for the learners and for the teachers as well. Curriculum plays an important character in the learning process. Curriculum are written guidelines that to be undertaken by the learners administered by teachers. Curriculum entails the mission and vision, objectives and goals, subject matters and other programs for the learning process. An educational institution cannot exist and endure without curriculum. Lastly, classroom/ school perform a special part in the learning process. Classroom is the proper place for formal learning. Learning is most conducive when proper classroom is provided for both the learner and teacher thus resulting to development and progress.
Learning is learning, yes! It can be possible to learn without one of these parts but the question is, is it effective or competent?
Learning is more enjoyable, effective and competent if the whole parts and characters are presently performing and valuing given roles and responsibility thus resulting to excellent learning. We must not regret the characters: The Who’s – Learner, Teacher and Administration; The What – Curriculum; and The Where – School / Classroom
